Terms of Service

By using JobTrackr, you agree to these terms. We keep them concise and aligned with how the product actually works today.

What the service does

JobTrackr connects to your Gmail via OAuth to pull job-application emails (capped to a 120-day lookback) and organizes them into your dashboard with statuses (Applied, Interview, Offer, Rejected).

Your responsibilities

  • Use the service for your own job search; do not misuse or attempt to bypass security/rate limits.
  • Keep your account secure and log out on shared devices.
  • Review your applications; parsing may not capture every email perfectly.

Our commitments

  • Gmail access is limited to application-related emails; tokens are stored encrypted.
  • OTP is hashed and rate-limited; sessions use HTTP-only cookies.
  • You can delete applications or your account; account deletion clears your data and session.

No warranties

JobTrackr is provided “as is.” We work to keep it reliable and secure, but we cannot promise perfect uptime or parsing. If something looks off, let us know and we will address it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as we add or change features. We will update the date on this page when that happens. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
