Privacy Policy
At JobTrackr, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the safeguards in place.
How we connect to your Gmail
We use Google OAuth 2.0 to connect to your Gmail account. This lets you grant access without sharing your password. You can revoke access anytime in your Google Account settings.
What we read
- We scan emails related to job applications (phrases like “Thanks for applying”, “Interview scheduled”, or status updates).
- Gmail pull is capped to a 120-day lookback to keep it to recent application emails.

- Auth: Google OAuth or email OTP
- Application data: company, role, location, status (Applied/Interview/Offer/Rejected), dates
- Gmail tokens: stored encrypted; used only to fetch your application-related emails
